ANM
ANM Nursing Course, or Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery, is a two-year nursing diploma programme. After passing their class 12 exam with a Science or Arts stream, interested candidates can apply for an ANM diploma. The two-year programme includes a six-month internship requirement. The ANM diploma is the most fundamental diploma course that can be pursued as a first step toward a career in nursing.
ANM students learn about maternity care and how to help new mothers during pregnancy and after delivery. Candidates are also educated on various aspects of healthcare with the goal of improving the health of patients, families, and society as a whole.
The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought. The maximum age limit for admission shall be 30 years.
Minimum Educational Qualification
i. Candidate with Science/Arts/Humanities/Commerce who have passed the 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in the core/elective/academic subjects taken together and passed English individually. iv. Admission shall be through Entrance examination.
Minimum qualifying marks for entrance test shall be 50% marks.
